DeLano Pickups?

Yeah, I imagine it's something like that. If he had the skill to replace the pickup I hope he had the good sense to adjust the height first. It just struck me as funny at 6:00 am this morning.:D

[I'm the guy] Believe me, I tried everything. I've owned it since 1987. I loved the original pickup, I have everything saved as neatly as possible and the Delano sounds as much like it as I can ask for except for improved string-to-string balance. I fiddled with it for years. When I got a second bass last year, a Stingray, I said, "this is what it should be like, it's not just me."
