I just installed a sonar 2 preamp in my thumb. It's equipped with 2 delano's pickups. I followed the schematics perfectly and I got two problems: I got higher output WITHOUT the preamp when I pull the push-pull volume. Why? The eq doesn't work in this case that is normal.
Second issue: the bass pot seems to not work, hard to say.
I used the stacked MEC pot for the eq which is a 100k. I believed that was the problem but with the delano's 50k I got the same problem.
This is the second time I mount this exact system, first it was in a Warmoth, perfect and now it's in my Thumb and I no longer have the Warmoth to check the wiring.
