Hi:

I received my bass four days ago and it arrived with two dents in the neck. They offer money or replace for a new one. It can be repair by a luthier or you think is better replace it?

How much money did they offer? A lot depends on the finish. A decent tech can spot-sand the affected areas and steam to minimize or even remove the dimples and/or drop-fill. Follow-up with some cosmetics and the sites will be indistinguishable from the balance off the neck. I've done this several times w/ oil & wax finishes but you'll want a pro to handle something this nice.

If I pursue something like this, the discount should be a substantial hunk of change.
