Detective shows must end.

Dude, having lived both one the southshore (Kenner) and on the northshore (Slidell), I'll take the northshore anytime over the cesspool that is GNO....nastiest, dirtiest, most garbage-encrusted hole I've ever lived in or witnessed....

I've lived on the northshore for more than ten years. Can't do it anymore. Childhood memories and all that. Plus no public tranportation, etc.

The only cool thing about the northshore is that tower that's disguised as a tree...unless you count the country, which is grand.

I miss NYPD Blue. -Mike
I dug the first season or so. But every time there's a decent formula these days, it suddenly has alot of less-well behaved siblings that give it all a bad name.

I miss "Homocide: Life on the Street". It started out cool too, but fell. Perhaps this is just how it works in TV land.

I like the Military Channel. Its not so much about murder as it is about killing. :D

I wouldn't want to generalize too much here about people who I'v3e never met. That would be like something an australian would do.......
Excuse me? :eyebrow:

okay, it's weak, but still better than any CSI show, even the one with Conan O'brien as the main character.
It's not Conan O'Brian, it's Dave Caruso, and if you're watching him, you're watching the wrong CSI.

Its the thing about TV... they dont want to work... one concept works and they milk it dry until you just cant stand it and then some... a lot some... until people kill themselves so they wont have to watch the crap... they dont want to try something new to see if it takes off... they dont want to stress and see if they can make something good and fresh

Its not just detective crap... its any subject... its even movies... remeber "i know what you did last summer" came out... then there were 10 movies coming out with almost same idea... all in like one year... or reality programs...
