I just got a used Line 6 Variax bass. It has a blend knob that should have a center detent. You can feel it a little and only sometimes. Is there any way to fix this or do I need to buy a new pot?

I just got word from Line6 that I need a new pot and can call them to order one. How much should one cost? Where do you suggest buying small parts?
Try googling 'pot centre detent' - it will find plenty of suppliers who include centre detent pots in their inventory.
The challenge will be identifying the right one!
