DI Box or Mic-ing the amp?

I'm new to this site so if this topic is covered every day, I apologise!

Just want to get some opinions on which is better for live shows? Keeping in mind that the 100W amp I'm playing through is good but not anything special. I got it a few years back when I stared playing just because it was big and cheap!

I play with an active bass (Tune TWB43 - Made in Korea) and sometimes I use a Fleabass. I will also be getting the new Yamaha TRBX 504 in the coming weeks!
