Did I take too long to record this song?

I just tracked a song that's going to be pitched for the soundtrack to a movie. It took me just over 30 minutes to track this one song, about 4 or 5 takes, and a few "punch in" parts. I came into the studio knowing nothing about the song, was handed a chord chart, and made notes accordingly after each of the first two takes. Your typical "action" sound track song, with Intro/Vrs/Chorus/Vrs/Chor/Bridge/Chor/Verse(ending). The last take of the 5 I pretty much nailed.

Studio masters, is this great for a 24 guy with about 10 sessions under his belt? I always want to improve and take as little time as possible.

Any input would be great!
