Did the stainless flat string eat the frets?

I Have already purchased a Atelier z vintage 504P as my first bass. The fret is thin but with fine fretwork.
Don't even worry about it. It will be years before your playing will have any effect on your frets, no matter what type of string you use. It's just not going to matter enough to be concerned about.
