Difference between a octave multiplexer and a micro pog

the multiplexer is strictly monophonic and craps its pants when you plays chords but its pretty much the meatiest meanest sounding pedal ever. The POG I've never played but from what I understand its really clean and tracks chords an fast lines fantastically. Not as meaty though.

The micro pog's lower octave is great, IMO. I haven't used a lot of analog octaves to compare it to but it pretty much tracks to the bottom of my 5 string, totally clean, as fast as I can play. You may get a warmer or fatter sound from something else but I don't solo the lower octave, I use it to fatten up/synthify my bass sound.

The tracking of the Micro Pog is great on the actual frequencies, but has a bit of delay to it when I play faster stuff. Doesn't bother me so much. A 12 string has a bit of a natural delay, too. Multiplexer is fatter and squishier where the Micro Pog is a bit more natural but has a wild sounding pitch-shifty edge to it as well.
