Note: They aren't in any particular order. For example, there are several 4001 models (1997, 4001S, 4001V63, etc).

So instead of doing your own research and comparative analysis you just want someone to hand you the answers all nice and easy. The only thing f'ing stupid here is how you're acting. Go back to your Teach Me Bass Guitar book, learn to play and leave the pro gear for the big boys
I wish I'd never clicked those links... made me nostalgic for my very first bass... good thing I'm broke as all get-out so I can't do anything stupid.
My first bass ever was a P.O.S. Kay Rickenbacker copy of an Azureglo 4001... unbelievably high action, but man that color STILL makes me weak in the knees. Ironically, one of the other basses I turned down was a Gibson Grabber... I suppose my resale would have been a tad higher if I'd bought THAT one (ignorant 12 year old). Years later when I replaced it with a Fender Precision, I traded the Kay for a trombone
And I'll try to be a little less gruff...
To the OP: I don't know if you are aware of forum etiquette, but I suspect not given your response. It's common courtesy to make at least some sort of effort to find information when given a resource. I know that sometimes the information may not be easy to find, and sometimes people DO want to go through that extra effort to chew your food up for you, but when someone isn't so inclined, it really is best to grin and bear it. I say that because we ALL start ignorant, but it's much more efficient to ingratiate yourself with those more knowledgeable than you than it is to alienate them. I'm not being sarcastic or unfriendly, and I hope that this is helpful.
What I've found is that, the more concentrated the knowledge tends to be in a board or thread, the less patience people have for "noob" attitude. I come from a background in computer programming, and that is especially true in that case... the worst thing that can happen to a board is for it to be overrun by people asking questions that are easily web-searched. It dramatically increases the ratio of noise to signal (i.e. it become that much harder to find valuable information due to all of the softball stuff).
Now the admission: I occasionally have been known to cheese out and ask a question I suspect I haven't searched enough on first... it's a bad, lazy habit, but I've done it. But when I do, I lead off with a careful air of deference, with something like "Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I've been having trouble finding X". I certainly never say "you guys suck for expecting me to look it up". I would become unwelcome pretty fast that way, and I find that, usually, with the right attitude, people are much more willing to work a little harder for me.
