DifFerene between...

I am looking to by my first Bass. I have decided on a Yamaha RBX170 but the shop I am looking at has:Yamaha RBX170SLV, Yamaha RBX170RM and Yamaha RBX170DBM. What's the difference?

I believe those letters are colors. DBM is Dark Blue Metallic. RM is Red Metallic and SLV is one not listed on the yamaha website.

Also it's just opinion but I think that Old violin sunburst is hawt on that instrument.

Thanks, I think SLV is silver. But there is a $10 difference between each with SLV as cheapest.

I had an RBX170 as my first bass as well, those are nice beginner basses IMO. Out-of-the-box the setup was good but I found it a bit high to my taste. Got the factory strings replaced with DR Nickel Lo-Rider roundwounds (medium-lite gauge) and it was ready to funk.
