Different caliber

I have a four-string Squire Precision Bass with Rotosound tapewound strings (65-75-100-115). If I bought new strings (probably roundwound) with a thinner caliber, would there be a problem with the nut, since it has the size of the bigger ones...

In theory there could be a problem, but not necessarily. If it were me, I'd put the roundwound set on the bass as it is and hope it works out. Only then, if there was a problem, replace the nut to match the new strings.

It depends on how much lower the gauge is. Try the new strings and see. If it's too loose I'd get another nut. Keep the old one if you do. It's already set up for the larger gauges in case you want to move back.

Knowing the gauges for the strings that you intend to install would be useful in determining any potential fitment issues.

IME: going from larger gauges to smaller ones is not that problematic, but smaller-to-larger can require some nut work. good luck with your string gauge swap, OP!
