Does anyone make a p-bass pickup that doesn't look like a p-bass pickup? Maybe something that looks like a Fender Mudbucker or a Les Paul mini humbucker?

Different P-Bass Pup Shape?

The only p pick-ups I've seen that don't look like your typical p's are the Lace Alumitone Aluma-P. I've not heard what they sound like though: http://www.lacemusic.com/Aluma_P.php

EMG, Bartolini, and some OEM pickups are soapbar shaped, but 'P' or Reverse 'P' inside, some active, and others passive.
Don't know how close they sound to a (what is a?) typical 'P', because of the wide/ shallow coils in the first 'P's.
