just got the rasberry pi and am looking for some simple audio software to play with. i'm not doing hardcore recording (several threads exist on recording in a linux environment) but just want something to make simple beats and chord progressions to play along with (maybe something like band in a box...).
i've found
LMMS (seems like the right ticket)
rosegarden (probably a bit comlex and maybe the pi can't handle the processing requirements)
ardour (again, maybe too heavy for the pi to handle...not sure though)
any other ideas? i'm particularly wondering how the pi will handle the processing requirements of some of these
