So here's what I can offer: For all the folks in the MD-DC-VA area that have been pining for high-end bass gear ever since Veneman's succumbed to the Mongol horde that is Guitar Center, I recommend the newly-minted Jive Sound (www.jivesound.com). I unearthed it online about a week ago, but can already tell that the owner, one Jong Lee, knows what his clientele are after.
