digitech bp200

i want to know if the digitech bp200 is worth getting, i've been playing for 6 months and im also in a band.i went to guitar center today to try it, but it was complicated as heck. but i was told that i have 30 days to return it. but when i went to test the pedal also, a fellow bass player told me that its not worth it because you can't combine certain effects, which is why i didn't take it(though i kinda regret it).

im looking for a cliff burton and/or flea(rhcp) sound

It is way outdated. Even back then it wasn't the best around.
Nowadays even entry models from Korg, Boss and Zoom will blow the BP200 away.
It's ok if you can catch one 2nd hand on the cheap but that's it.

The digitech bp200 is more suitable for beginners. if you're an advanced player, I would recommend korg processors.

There are still a few effects the BP200 has which aren't available on my ME-50B (and vice versa). I like it for certain things, but the big problem I have is that it doesn't run on batteries. It's built like a tank and has a good interface. If you can find one cheap, it's certainly worth having for the different palette of sounds.
