Digitech Expression Factory - Anyone using one yet?

I've been interested in a Whammy for a while now, so today I was in a music store and decided to try out the Whammy mode on the EX7.

I like the pedal because it's more compact than the Whammy which would be useful on a packed pedal board. However, I found the Whammy sounds to be a bit cheesy. It is entirely possible that it could be the result of using a cheesy amp (Line 6 Lowdown) at a low volume level and also the fact that I was unsure how to tweak the pedal.

I'm going to borrow a buddies WH-4 and see if it sounds better than the EX7. In the meantime - has anyone put the EX7 to use on their pedalboard?

Had it for about a week and returned it, It sounded good but the whammy tracking wasn't up to my par (neither is the real whammy's tracking) The XP-300 and ADA Flanger settings were awesome but not awesome enough or unique enough to where I couldn't produce the same sounds with my current pedals.

I can get close to the xp300 settings with my pedals, the xp300 is mainly chorus delay and reverb, with weird spacey pitch shifting (but that part sounded lame to me) so I can get the same effect as the xp300 with more controlable sounds with seperate chorus reverb delay and volume (of which I have already). I can get similer sounds to the whammy with the POG (at least the useful sound) and I think the tracking on the whammy is alright, but not good enough for what I use it for. Plus the whole not being polyphonic thing doesn't fly with me. Also the whammy and POG both seem useless to me without distortion anyways since I feel it makes the sound way too digital (reason the POG has gone to my gu*tar board).
