Dilemma!spector?? schecter?? G & L??

Hey guys,
I've searched for schecter and spector threads before and found a little info. I've also looked into the G & L forum and thats been very useful. Thing is I can't split these basses apart!:help:

Schecter diamond series Hellraiser
Spector Legend 4 classic
G & L Tribute L-2000

I Play mostly modern(ish) metal (avenged sevenfold, trivium, Megadeth)but dip my toes into Prog and really dig the Justin Chancellor Tone.

The Question is: can anyone offer any opinions/comparisons of the above basses? any comments or experiences are greatly appreciated! :D

I just bought a Spector Legend Classic Bubinga last week......

.....I'm not sure how much they sell for used......but for what I paid, it's one hell of a bass. It feels like a much more expensive bass. I love the neck.....just perfect. It seems that the string spacing may be a little closer together (compared to my Fender J). I actually prefer the closer string spacing.
Some complain about the TonePump Jr. pre....or the SSD EMGs....but I have to say, it sounds good to me.

I play in more of an aggressive rock band.....not so much metal....but it can definatly do whatever you want it to.......it can do smooth fat sustain, to punchy in your face without a problem.

So another vote for the Spector.

ok thanks a lot for the comments guys its a big help!! seems to be very few schecter fans out there then?

i've got the diamond series stiletto 4 banger. absolutely love it. but then again i play mostly blues. i can get any tone i need out of. wanna cut through? boost the bridge pup. fat and in the back? boost the neck pup and cut some of the bridge. it basically plays itself. the neck is thin and easy to get around on, well balanced, and light. it gets gigged regularly and is my primary bass.

i have the same schecter as above, and recently upgraded to active emg's, and will be installing a bqc system preamp shortly - once i park my ns2a in the shop for fret levelling.

the schecter plays great, sounds great (until picking up the spector)

of course, you're speaking of a different spector than mine.

i think for the music you play you will be quite happy with the schecter. it sounds like it looks, and looks as it should according to my bandmates.
