Dillion bass

Hi gang long time no post, been rolling with the strat and tele posts,
I am first and foremost a bassist and I love being a singing songwriting guitar playing bassist

.that said, I been doing a lot of research on a bass I just traded a Roland ready strat for a Dillion bass
.I have had a Rickenbacker and I played it everynight for 10 years so I know what I am saying in regards to the Ric,
I played a P-Bass and the Ric just collected dust for a year so I started to work it in.well the Ric after 10 years gave me carpal tunnel,
I been using everything else from a LongHorn to a Starfire to Fender P and J bass guitars.I used a bunch of other including Peavey's Yamaha's and Ibanez bass
( I love artcore bass and will get another,
I have 3 Hofners and these are my main bass guitars,
I own a LTD LesPaul bass a Fender P 3 Hofners but I always
wanted my Ric back, mine was black but this is I guess Fireglo
though Dillion might have another name.It dont sound like a Ric it sounds more EBO.I love the mojo of it but the edge where
your hand rests is rounded unlike the sharp edged Ric.
I can say that I am happy and will recommend the bass to
anyone who asks.I wanted another Ric and also liked the lawsuit Ric's the Ibanez and Univox copies but they are hard to find.in some ways the Dillion is better and in some ways not.I was wondering if anyone else played these instruments?

Ron, I really liked mine while I had her.i had the sunburst. I still own a couple of Dillion guitars ,the Les Paul Extreme and their Firebird copy.great guitars. I thought I needed a Tobias Grabber so I traded my Ric copy and a semi hollow body guitar even up and have been kicking myself ever since.the grabber was the worst bass I have owned in 40 + years of playing.wish I still had the Dillion .ill probably talk the local store owner into getting in a black one and getting one back. Good luck with yours, I know you will enjoy it.
