DiMarzio ClipLock Strap??

I just use a rubber washer. Cheap and effective. I don't care for nylon straps and the cliplock leather straps are outrageously priced. I would go for the most comfortable strap if I were you and then if you really need straplocks, try a set out.

I liked them. only issue is you can't fit your instrument into a hardcase since the clip ends are always attached. some cases might work. I didn't like the fact that when playing you bass with out the strap you still have the clip ends attached. otherwise awesome straps, well made, sturdy!

depends on how much you tighten the screw in your body. don't go too tight, you want them to swivel freely. but generally yes. make sure the holes in you body aren't striped so the screws slide out, or it defeats the purpose of getting a locking strap

I love the cliplock strap; I have a set on all 5 of my basses (4 Warwicks and a Fender P). They are super sturdy and have never failed me once and I have used them since probably 2006 or so. I can even just take one strap with me to gigs and use the same strap with all of the basses if I want to. Very handy. I never have a problem getting my basses in their cases, but I am sure some that fit very tight would give trouble.
The ONLY negative for me (and it is not the strap's fault) is that my Warwick basses are super heavy and it can get tough on long gigs that last 3 or 4 hours. A bigger, thicker strap would probably help, but I love the Cliplock so much I have never even thought about going to anything else since I got them. I highly recommend them.

I used them. So did both the guitarists in my band. Mine work great.

There's the additional bonus that if you rock out really hard, you can duct tape a wireless receiver to one of the straps and then use that same strap for each guitar.

The only problem we had was that it came straight of the body of my lead guitarist's Schechter's (both of them). Some research told us this was a problem with the guitar, not the strap.
