Dimarzio Model One questions...

I did a little research, but wanted to confirm some stuff about this pickup with the talkbass guru's....

1) This thing is a 4 lead model right? As in it can be coil tapped (split)?

2) How high does this pickup sit? As in, can it be effectively used as a thumbrest? I have an older model with the monster chrome cover, and it feels really good as a thunbrest. How does the Model One compare?

Yea, it's got 4 leads, the coils can be wired series or parallel, or with a switch to go back and forth.

Pretty much the same size as the monster chrome cover and usable as a thumb rest, or anchor.
