Dimarzio Will Power, opinions?

Preparing to upgrade pickups in my MIM P, and I'm considering the Will Power middle (with possible addition of the neck pickup at a later date.

Anyone upgrade to these? There doesn't seem to be much talk about them here.

And, yes, I'm a Sheehan fan, but that's not my reason for wanting to try them. Well, sort of. After doing my research, I'm looking for a pickup that will allow me to get a similar grind to Billy's tone, though not with all the bells and whistles he employs like biamping and such. These will go in a standard P, no neck pickup (yet).

I've been struggling with this bass since I bought it. It plays and feels (and looks) great, but when I compare it to my 60th Anniversary P, there is just no comparison. Totally different animal.

The P in question is now loaded with the stock pickup, to which I added an EMG BTC control running at 18v. My goal is to eliminate that active circuit and bring it back to passive, because the BTC control adds so much gain that the bass is twice as loud as all of my other basses, which really messes with my effects patches when I switch between basses. Not to mention, I would prefer to have it passive so I don't have to yank the pickguard off every time I gotta change batteries.

I'm a pretty busy player, technique-wise. I play in a one-guitar band, so I need a pickup that will cut through the mix easily and still give me the bottom end that I need.

Anyone? Also interested in opinions of Attitude players who can give their opinions of just the P pickup.
