hi everybody.
As in the title i’m In need of help.
I’m wondering if a switching system for 3 pups as found on Dingwalls could be reproduced with a 4 way blade switch (as the one used on Tele guitars).
Precisely I mean this setup:
- bridge only
- bridge + middle in series
- bridge + Neck in parallel
- Neck only
I’m asking this because of:
- the 4 way rotary switch available from the Dingwall online store is (pricy..) specifically designed to work with not usual pickups and instead I’m considering a more simple system that could work with no matter which 2 cables pickup (just for example);
- the blade switches are, even if it’s just a stupid thing, more intuitive since you always know where you are. They are easier to use and frankly even cheaper (a lot cheaper..) if considering replacements during time.
Could it be done?
I’m specifically considering a setup with
DiMarzio Model J in bridge and neck position + one Ultrajazz in the middle position.
Thank you for any help..
