I'm a metal player, but wow, I like that. I'm looking forward to sound demos.
Wish it had the new bridge, but looks killer
Not so much the aesthetics for me but the functionality. I play in a Metallica coverband rn and need to palm mute sometimes. The Canadian style bridges for dingwall are amazing and some of the most comfortable I’ve ever played due to not having to sharp edges. The import single saddles have a lot of angles that can be not as comfortable to play if your hand is on the bridge.Old bridge is pretty functional, no complaints on mine but I agree, the new bridge does look a lot neater. The price is a bit eye-watering though with these new bridges. As far as I know, they're only on the Canadian models.

Payson is a bit backlogged at the moment. I'm sure he has bridges, but I'm still waiting for strings I ordered back in mid-April of last year. Looking forward to trying them though as I hear they're magic on multiscales.Payson strings for a very nice version of the AB style bridge.
Great idea to do a bit of a cosmetic makeover on the Combustions.
And not just the new visual styling, it’s got a cool electronics package as well. And a blend knob! Finally!
I love the switch to go straight to P only or a J setup, and the all three option.
Question is: how hard are the new tariffs going to hit a bass that imports from Asia to Canada, gets worked on, and then ships to the US?
You're not helping the gas.I got to see this bass in person on the NAMM show floor today. It is beautiful! Sheldon was still setting up his booth so I didn't get a chance to plug it in but wow!
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that it will be like the NG3 or John Taylor signature models(not the limited ed. Canadian made Rio Dream bass) which are crafted in China. Is this Nashville Canadian or Asian?
