Nice octave pedal tone too, this is definitely Dingwall’s Funk/R&B focused model.
An NG3 can do it, but I bet a Combustion would be a better fit.
As far as versatility goes, I’m sure I made the right choice with the John Taylor. The tones are very similar to music man but different at the same time.
This bass is so clear and articulate! There is a temptation to just sell stuff and adapt to a Dingwall. More realistically, maybe I can get one next year.
Not to keep beating a dead horse but I am really enjoying my budget Dingwall replacement…
It has some of that clarity and the B string sounds nice despite only being 35” scale.
After playing it, if I had the scratch I would probably get some sort of Dingwall. Until then it's that thing above

I have never been a good slapper.
This bass is forcing me to slap, it sounds so good on it. As well as the finger funk thing.
