Dingwall Super J : Vintage + modern

I got the sunburst, bought from NJ Guitar and bass center in Edison, NJ. Price was up there, traded my Marcus Miller Fender Jazz to bring down price to $1900. I will be picking it up probably the end of next week. It was dumb luck that I found it, it took 6 months to get it into the store. I was in the area so I stopped in, knew nothing about the bass, played it couldn't resist it. I could tell how special it was so I did what I could to get it before it was gone.

Good call, my friend. That's a beautiful bass that hides its high tech origins behind a facade of the traditional. It sounds like you got a pretty good deal on it too! If'n I were to be playing a four these days, I'd have one by now.

Good call, my friend. I have that exact same bass and I gotta tell ya, after playing it, I haven't wanted to play anything else. As a matter of fact, I plan on getting on the wait list for the SJ5 when they come out because I predominantly play fivers and sixers, but this bass dictates that I play a 4 banger just because it's so good. Welcome to the club!
