Dirt Stacking

Hi Justin,

I'm using a few dirt boxes on my board, and have been toying with the idea of using multiple distortions at the same time. I was wondering if you've ever done this and/or if you could share some advice on some other creative stacking methods (ie - bass overdrives with blend knobs, fuzz pedals, etc)

It's pretty much a random surprise as to what works together. Some pedals play nice with others, and some take away what you may have liked about them separately. I have an Earthquaker Devices Monarch (Orange amp flavored drive) that makes pretty much anything I feed into it better, and I like it stacked so much with my EQD Dirt Transmitter that I don't play the Dirt Transmitter on its own anymore. It makes the sputtery fuzz sound like a gnarly synth... with big teeth. It's kind of become a new signature fuzz tone for me.
