Distortion/Fuzz with chunkiness in the low end?

EHX Hot Tubes.

My distortion choices in my pedal board are:
1. For Low, Fat, Singing Fuzz - EHX Hot Tubes

2. For Higher smooth soloing - EHX Bass Soul Food (An MXR Bass Envelope Filter ahead of this really speaks vocal solo stuff well — Tone Corset compressor between them)

3. For raunchier Muff style raw - the distortion on my Battalion. Like a Big Muff but it keeps more of the low end. This gets stomped on when an improvisational jam gets wild and hairy and needs just a little bit of crazy.

I turn on my Tone Corset compression when I hit any distortion. My clean fingerstyle tone is w/o compression. I let the natural response of my GK amp breathe with the signal as I dig in.

I'd search this if I could quantify it in simple terms, but I'm not sure how.
So many bass fuzz/distortions/overdrives have a clean blend to maintain the low end, and so many others are designed so that the overdriven sound doesn't interfere with the lower frequencies. To me, for the most part, these just sound like a typical clean sound with a fizzy sound in the top end, but the low end maintains a smooth consistency.
I dont want that.
I want the low end to sound chunky and broken just as much as the top end. Can anyone help determine this? I'd love some pedal suggestions as well as just general terms that help search out this sound.

Another vote for the Damnation Audio MBD-1 or MBD2... To add, the Depth control injects low end into the distortion. Between using the Depth and Clean (blending in unaffected lows in parallel) it'll achieve what you're looking for

I think I understand what you mean.
Give a listen to the idiot box blower box or the zvex Mastotron (that one has a very scooped sound though)

However I was in search for such a tone and realized that only a distortion would not get me there. I had to use a synth pedal for that.maybe give a listen to the source audio C4 or the Boss Sy-1 to see if those tones are what you are looking for.
