Distortion sucks on bass.

Distortion on bass is good if used correctly. I prefer a little fuzz once in a while myself.

I prefer fuzz to no fuzz. But (and I can't overemphasize this) too MUCH fuzz is just bad and makes the mix too hairy and sloppy. I strongly suggest trimming it back a little just to keep the groove as clean as possible without totally eliminating the element all together.

I dont know what happened to Bryan Adams. His first couple records were decent, though not enough to buy one. Then the last 10-12 years he sucks. These shmaltzy crap love songs... yuck. To top it off Canadian radio stations play him too much as part of their requirement to play 25% Canadian content.

Oh yeah, I dont like distortion on bass either. I like clear, clean & deep bass tones.
