DIY bass effect schematics

What are the best/most useful for bass effects that can be built from schematics available on the net? Are any of you into DIY effects?

its got a large number of projects with the parts layed out, im starting to build the Orange Squeeze compressor, which is meant to be great for bass. Theres mods to make the effects bass compatible

I recommend starting with a kit from Invalid Link Removed... simpler, everything's provided, and step by step instructions just in case.
