diy bypass looper

HI!

i have a little problem with a bypass/looper:

I get a loud hi pitched noise instead of the desired effect... WHY?

HOW CAN I FIX IT? WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT??? :scowl:

Literally, go step by step in your build. Make sure you soldered the switch correctly and your 'input' is really 'input', 'send' is really 'send', etc. Sounds like you have something swapped or reversed. Is this a passive looper?

If you can, post up GOOD pictures of your build.

It is a passive looper, the weirdest thing is that it worked with my acoustic guitar and my roland amp at home .... and then i took it to rehearsal and it only made noises with my passive jazz bass and my warwick amp....




any clues?

Did you hook it up properly?

Does it still work ok with the acoustic/roland now? Maybe it was working then and a loose solder joint came apart on the journey to rehearsal.
