DIY cabinet stand

I'm trying to think of a simple DIY design with adjustable height AND tilt angle. Has anybody done or seen something like this, using just simple plywood and screws/glue/etc?

Look at the cart photo above. With tilt you don't need lift. My wedge is folded cardboard.

You could make a wedge out of plywood with 4" and 6" options. Depending which side faces floor you'd have it all covered by pushing further under cab. Bonus points for velcro so it collapses.

My solution with a couple of cabs I've had is a hard slip-on cover the cab can sit on. Cabs tilted back on the floor have never seemed to give me the same in yer face-ness of a cab up on a road case or chair. I've also used a cheap folding keyboard bench like this one with the seat padding removed.

I use Acme B2 cabinets. I personally think that the best stand for an Acme B2 is a second Acme B2!

Yep, agreed.

However, stacking a cab on a wood box or a non-functioning cab creates a problem.
The box or cab will absorb sound energy from the functioning cab, usually at a single frequency or narrow range.

EDIT: This really DOES happen. I had the Peaver 215D on top of the Hartke 410TP seen near the DIY stand.
It sucked the B (7th fret E and 2nd fret A) down to the point where it was a problem.
I went through a bunch of try this and that, different basses etc. and finally realized it was the 410TP sucking down that B.
It got so annoying to have to hit the B harder that I was motivated to build that stand.
Obviously it's not for use at gigs. It really does exactly what it needs to do for me in our jam room at nearly zero cost.
Tipping the 215 back won't work and there's no room to place it horizontally.

A friend built this one only because my access to shop space has been limited since moving onto a boat but something like this is pretty easy. Fitting lids and latches is the hard part of building road cases and this has neither.

Sometimes I slide a markbass 'markstand' over the end of my gig bag, but usually I just bring my 12sub.
