DIY GFRP Sandwich Panel 1x15PR400

Well 6 months later :hiding: again dragging my feet assuming the worst (blown speaker), I finally took the time to get this thing working again. Seems like it was just the wires coming loose. Phew! Went back in with zip ties and shrink tubing to do a much more pro job.

It's weird, comparing it with a sealed 2x12, it still sounds a bit boxier, but I think that's just the lack of low mid bump I'm hearing. A couple ticks of the bass/lowmid and it's right there and then some. :smug:

And here she is at a day shy of 10 months with friends :,)

I had ordered two PR400's when MCM had them on sale for a great price, but the next day I decided I didn't want to have $300+ worth of drivers waiting for a cab - at the moment I'd rather have the cash. It was a good deal, but I don't get bass gigs that require that kind of power. On the louder gigs I'm the drummer.
