Double Bass DIY URB Magnetic Pickups

Hi All
Just letting everyone know I have COMPLETELY REDESIGNED The Krivo pickup. and I have to say people are Very happy.
I now use neodymium magnets for more clarity and much higher output. and the poles are now adjustable with a hex wrench instead of the old chopstick method.
and Best of all NOISE free , completely humbucking.
I have some pictures.

1. Jason is prompt & courteous via email & paypal details.

2. Pickup is solid, well constructed, and good looking.

3. Sound is clear, noise-free, and can get quite loud.

Initial tests on working jazz gig rig - Boss Bass EQ > SWR 200 Watt head > SWR Goliath 2x10. Looking forward to plugging in to "big" rig - Eden pre > Crown K1 > SWR 4x10!

My only issue is my bass fingerboard is kind of thin (Moses graphite) and doesn't have the proper surface area for the velcro attachment. It seems to stay in place for now - but I'm a little nervous to gig with it until I fix it up.

Thinking of attaching a small block of wood under fingerboard - flush with end of fingerboard - then can add more velcro to better "mate" with the pickup.

Any suggestions for a good solid glue that would bond wood to the underside of the carbon-fiber fingerboard?

hey I need some more of that Velcro that you use - in black - what brand/kind do recommend? the only stuff I can find is traditional Velcro tape with one half the fuzzy stuff...

also - did you glue your Velcro to the pickup itself? looks pretty solidly attached...
