Dmx software that is osx and midi compatible

So I am down sizing my pa and trying to integrate as much as possible

I m using a Presonus 16.0.2 that has midi built in. And using a Roland midi foot controller so I can mute efx and a few other functions of the board

I am looking for software options on mac That can be triggered via midi

The lighting rig is all led and not that big

I am curious what is working for you all

IPad. I'm using Luminair. Hardware is iPad, Router and an Ethernet to DMX converter from DMXKing. Running 16 par 56LED's. I'm about to add some moving head fixtures. Luminair is pretty dang cool. Not the least expensive option but... Pro and very portable.

I run an SL 16.4.2. I'm keeping my lighting rig separate from my SL remote setup ...

Hey man, I'm using DMXIS and it's been a great little set of software/hardware for me.

I have attached a video below. In it I have all of the midi cues programmed into Cubase, and the lightshow is done automatically. However, you can use it without the DAW and have make lighting presets that will respond to MIDI notes.

I am using a GUSelectronics USB to dmx interface "$60", Q lighting controller plus "free", Lenovo lynx pad running windows 8. I tried many free software options and Q light was the best and easiest for me. We run 4-led par 64's, 2-profile panels, 2-FX bar 5's, and a revo-4. Many chase and color scenes. endless possibilities. All at the touch of a finger changes. On screen faders, blackout, strobe, all there.

I ended up going with dmxis band is not ready to gig yet so I have some time to program the lights

I've been using Freestyler and QLCPlus. Both can be set up for MIDI control, although if you want complex timed shows with additional audio QLCPlus is a better bet. Both are somewhat idiosyncratic and whilst the QLCPlus is conceptually easier than Freestyler the level of bugs was making life frustrating at times, but the bugs now seem to be getting fixed.
