Do Fretless Exist without a Burst Finish?

If burst is good enough for Jaco , Pino, and Esperanza, then it's good enough of me.

Body by Warmoth (Zebrawood top). Neck from Mighty Mite (ebonol board). Finishing in my basement. Those folks who say they can make a fretless sound like it's fretted? Not on this bass - you literally cannot play this thing without mwah dripping all over your tone. My only 4 string, and the heaviest bass in my collection - weighs 7.87 pounds (all my 5's are lighter).

So does a lined body help to get the intonation right? :smug:
