Another +1 for the Presonus first, and then adding speaker management if you need it later. I was reluctantly dragged into this technology by one of the churches I work with, but now I would never go back.
The DBX is a great piece, but it only provides an incremental improvement in the overall sound at FOH.
The impact of the StudioLive extends much further. Having such crazy good pre's and converters on a compact board, and being able to tweak each source with full per-channel dynamics control, parametric EQ, etc. so that they sound the best they have ever sounded, plus having TEN pre-fader aux sends for truly personal monitoring, is literally a revolution in club-level live sound.
You can also add the savings that come from being able to ditch 8 graphic EQ's and 2 FX processors, not to mention the freedom to do monitor and FOH mixes on the fly from the stage or the floor, using an iPad as a wireless remote.
