OMG we agree on something! I listen to radio on my computer or phone + bluetooth speaker all day long. As I write this I'm locked in to WBGO out of Newark. Whenever I travel I go straight to the left of the dial and if I find a station I like I download its app so I can listen back home.To be honest, I've gone back to traditional radio.
Do people still even use Ipods?
Yes, I have an iPod Shuffle loaded with Stevie Wonder that's required equipment when I go running. (When they came out I was kinda "WTH?," but it's perfect in this application.) When Apple discontinued them I bought a few more "just in case" because they're not very weather-friendly. Apart from being featherweight it wouldn't serve the purposes you describe.
