Do you hang your basses up on your wall?

My EB-0 is kept in it's hardshell case. I just prefer it. There's nothing wrong with hanging them.

Get nice hangers like Hercules or String Swing, hit a stud and you’ll be off and running.

Cases or stands at the moment. We're planning to move in the near future and I'll have a purpose built studio to house everything. At that time I think I'll hang a few up for easy access and just to dress the place up a bit.

I don’t have a pic right this minute but I use a 5 instrument string swing and have no complaints. IMO you have to mount it in studs, but finding enough studs in spots close enough to where I wanted the thing hung wasnt a problem.

I have in the past. I used a good hanger and mounted it in a wall stud. it worked well for me and I would do it again.

Nope. Safest in their cases. I know they are there. My urge to play is most insistent. Those are in a closet with a hygrometer. A humidifier does that whole room for the winter months. The vents to that room are specifically restricted. While more important for the acoustic basses, it's easier for me to control the temp and humidity in a smaller space and have them adjust slowly with the case as an additional space. YMMV. We all live in different climes, sizes of homes, and heating sources.

High on the wall leaves room for the amps below. I have access to the back of that wall and put blocking between the studs so I could mount the hangers on whatever spacing I desired. Cases are stored behind the amps which is fine when I don’t play out often but will need to be rethought when the music scene in NY opens back up.

[Killing Floor]

I have 2 hooks. At any time there are 2 instruments ready to play. Bass, guitar, or 2 of one. This way there’s always 2 empty cases. So if (when) I buy a new bass one goes in a case and just like that, I only have 2. Perception is 9/10 of the law.
Nobody knows or cares how many cases I have.
