Do you practice plugged in?

I know we all play different styles of music. Some of us play many styles. It can’t hurt to have the control that playing lightly brings. Our amps can do the heavy lifting. One can play. Dry aggressive music and still have a light touch. But let’s say instead you can do both but never more than necessary. It’s economical. My vocal coach talks about how many times a pro may have sung a asong on tour. She needs and wants to bring the feel and meaning each time. She doesn’t have the need to add extraneous facial motions when they have another show to do that night etc.

Yes, I have a Ampeg BA110V2. It will even work at a coffee house gig

I plug in my sound card Apollo (UAD) with a bunch of plug-ins. Most of the time it's a Neve, Manley or Avalon these days with a Pultec eq. Sounds amazing and fun to play with
