Questions for you shaky hands people:
Are you on the "thin" side, as in, you don't weigh a lot? Do you eat a lot, but don't gain weight? Defecate (um, poop) a lot/diarhea?
If you answered yes to any of these questions....
But really, you may have an over-active thyroid. I have always had shaky hands along with the above mentioned symptoms. Found out that I had an over-active thyroid and had it treated. I gained about 30lbs., and now when I hold my hand out flat in front of me, there is no shaking at all! After 30+ years of shaking, it still amazes me that I no longer shake.
Anyway, a blood test can determine thyroid trouble. BTW, my family doctor refused to believe I had thyroid trouble, even after my blood test results showed it was over-active. After the second blood test showed the same, I saw an edocrinologist, and he confirmed the diagnosis.
Good luck!
