I honestly think this damage has been occurring for him since his first tour. I have mellowed in my negative opinions of singers that aren't technically great but Brian always had this straining sound that bothered me.

Hey, if Cinderella's singer can get his vocals fixed and learn how to properly support his voice, perhaps there is hope Brian can get through this.

I feel bad for the guy and the whole band seems to be falling apart at the seams. It's probably time they hung it up, imo. I loved Back In Black when I was in high school, but how many times can they make the same album, over and over? It got stale a long time ago for me. Ymmv.

I saw AC/DC a couple of weeks ago in Dallas. I have listened to their music my whole life but never seen them live. I knew this could be the last chance to do it so the wife and I bought tickets and made the 8 hour drive to the concert. It was a great concert and just what you would expect from AC/DC. It was evident that they were drowning the vocals a bit but that is too be expected. Angus is still all over the stage non-stop and even closed out the main performance with an impressive 15 minute guitar solo. It was well worth the drive.

Get some good ear plugs and man up we are all deaf to a point, it is part of the game and you know it going in.
