DOD SR410 Monitor Processor, opinions?

I've been eyeing one of these for my bass rig.
I was looking at a "rig manegment system" I can use for slight tone tweaking, low and high filters, maybe compression or limiter, and gain staging. I decided against a Mic pre channel or bass pre, cause I get most of my sound thru my Tone Hammer pedal, I was thinking maybe a single ch 31 band eq, but I don't know if thats what I was really wanting, then I came across this for sale Invalid Link Removed

Has anyone used this? is it quiet? It will go in my 3u rack with a Crown XLS2000 poweramp feeding a Carvin LS1503 PA cab with 375w to the 15" and 375w going to the 6.5" and CD X'd @ 707 hertz. You can see y I like the idea of using an all in one monitor processor cause my rig on stage is really a big mon.

Like I said earlier, my basses plug into my board (Tuner and TH) so my TH is my only pre, I am happy with my sound, I just really like the idea of #1 low cut @40hz to filter out unused freq protecting drivers and saving power. #2 having slight EQ capibilities(can we ever have enough eq) #3 compression/limiting further system protection #4 It would be nice to have a final gain stage in the rack WITH the poweramp.

ALL opinions welcome. Is there some other product I should be looking at? Preferably under $250?

If need be I might have this moved to EFFECTS, but I thought I'd give the soundguys first crack since this is sold as SR gear.

Thanx.
