Does a budget 5 string fretless shortscale exist?

Hi,

I am looking for a budget 5 string fretless short scale? I used to have a Ubass, but I had some problems with it, and think that a 30" scale would be great. I don't have the facilities to defret an existing bass. I'd love a short scale Ibby SRF705

If you have any recommendations, please respond.

I have a Bently 5 String fretless that's pretty short. I'm not home right now, so I couldn't tell you the scale. I will say an Ibanez SR406 and Fender MIA Jazz are too long to fit in the case I have it in.

Rondo Music has had a few short scale fretless fives on their site in the past. You might want to check there from time to time as their inventory tends to change frequently.

Brice makes one HXB 405 3/4 but they are not in stock right now. Rondo Music

I am ordering the srf705. It looks too cool. rondo said to wait til the fall.
