Just wondering if that is a worthwhile pursuit. If not, https://www.talkbass.com/threads/roland-gk-3b-hex-pickup.1461308/ Mods: If this is wrong, please delete, with my apologies... Diego
I do. But when I do, I am looking for something very specific and usually do a search. If I am looking for another bass, I scroll right on by the listings which are above my price point.
hey, diego! your ad is my first experience, i think! i wish i had what you're looking for: i'd give it to you! what else do you need?
I once posted that I was looking for a cream colored Dimarzio Model J and got a couple of responses right away, but neither of them sold it to me.
@diegom , It says I don't have permission to see the post you linked to. To answer your question about the Wanted classifieds, no, I don't normally look at them. I see zero posts in "Wanted: Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories." - John
Wanted Roland GK-3B hex pickup Looking for a Roland bass pickup to resuscitate my VBass. A GK-2B, in good condition, would also be considered.
Yes, I look in there occasionally, and I've sold some parts and accessories over the years as a result. I've never sold a bass, amp, or cab through the "wanted" section.
The one time someone actually replied to my “wanted” listing, they told me they wouldn’t sell me the specific item I wanted to buy unless I additionally purchased an accessory for it that I had no desire or need for. That was a weird one.
I never look at the wanted classified, never look at at the classifieds period. There's no point. I live in Scotland and TB is 90% USA.
Yes I've scanned it and found a couple of buyers, if not for my own pieces, but to put buyers and sellers together where I knew a sought after piece was located.
