does anyone have some new ideas for me?

hey TBers
im currently working on a warmoth build and i was thinkin of doing an active P-J configuration. However, after doing a little reading i wanted to know what other options there were (more oddball ones) If yall could offer suggestions about strange or odd combinations of pickups and their pros/cons i would be very grateful!

Awesome combination.

Also pretty good with the three 5-way switches

Id probably do the Vol blend tone if you sometimes turn down the volume on your bass. It makes it easier to adjust volume without loosing the pickup combination you have. However, if you dont alter the volume much if at all, the probably the VVT as you can adjust slighty more,.

And yes, thats denim.

doesn't the denim absorb hand juices and start to stink??
i dont alter volume much and i can to the alterations i use just with dynamics. its not really the controls im after so much but rather the pickup combinations. things like a P and a MM combined say i have no idea what works so im open to ideas

I am also interested in the P MM combination. I think it would be cool to have that because of many different possibilities. Shut off one coil on the MM and it is a P J, Run the MM only, run the P only, P and MM together, one coil of the MM only....you get it. I am really considering this option, I would have to route one of the P pickups on my bass and add some more controls.
