Does anyone here like Tesla?

Wow. It's been a long time since I've listened to them. I saw them in Rochester, NY at the War Memorial around the late 80's. They put on a really great show.

I can't say they're my favorite band, but I wouldn't mind digging up one of their CDs from my collection and giving it a listen.

Little Suzie's on the up!

By late eighties, I wasn't listening to rock-pop music since I couldn't find anything interesting. I remember that Mötley Crüe's "Dr. Feelgood" and Aerosmith's "Pump" were two albums that everybody talked about, but never impressed me. Fine Young Cannibals and Milli Vanilli were other popular names that didn't do it for me. Guns N' Roses only caught my attention with "Use Your Illusion" in '91.

Then I heard "Love Song" by accident on the radio. It was the first cool new rock song I got to hear after many years and it became an instant favorite, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested on the band. I only have "The Great Radio Controversy" and "Five Man Acoustical Jam", both in LP format, and I really like them. Never heard anything else from tesla.

A few years back those old geezers got back togehter and did a tour. I was the security super that night...show was ok alot of drunk idiots for some reason came out and i got ruff with one but anyways. Tesla were complete @sses to us when they came off the stage to meet the few fans who stayed to meet them. You would of thought they were still 80's rockstars or something. We (me) had to get on them to cut the greet off due to club policy and they were like not wanting to listen or let the people leave...got a bit ugly but they did listen.
