BassRan is his user name but he's got some of the maddest 6-string skills I've heard in some time.

I have no idea who he his but I'd ran across him a while back when looking for inspiration/ideas for improving over Chick Corea's Spain.

Anyways...I agree, he has some pretty good chops.

He's from Israel and his name is Ran Levi.

He was my music counselor at summer camp in Franklinville, NY around 5 or 6 summers ago. I was just a teenager wanking around on the guitar back then. Didn't even appreciate that bass when he let me play it. I wish so badly I could get back in contact with him and take lessons in Jerusalem. Actually... I'm going to do that One of the nicest guys I've met, and a great sense of humor.
