Does anyone know...

If it where me, I would try and get hold of a 3M product called “finesse it” its a hand buffing compound for the auto market, that starts off quite aggressively and breaks down as you rub to reasonably fine, kind of does three grits in one leaving a decent gloss. But I would try it in an inconspicuous spot first, just to see how deep the yellowing goes.
