Does anyone use Hartke HyDrive 112's?

I have one that I love, but by itself it's not quite loud enough to play with my guitarist and drummer. So I have a 115 that I use. However I was thinking that two 112's would make a nice mini stack, that at 600W would be plenty loud.

Thoughts? Does anyone have experience with HyDrive 112 that they can share? Think I'd be better off sticking with the 115?

2 identical cabs will always be the better choice. Of course, a pair of the 15's could be potentially louder, but 2 12's is usually enough for me.

I use a pair of Hydrive 112s and can keep up with a full band quite well. I use a 500 watt Aguilar head and the setup is light, compact, and loud. I use one cab for home practice and the pair for band gigs and rehearsals.

Sounds pretty darn good too!

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning this direction. I'm very into "light, compact, and loud"

I have a Shuttle 9.2. I know that means I won't be able to turn it up much past 6 o'clock, but I also have a HyDrive 115... And in a pinch if I need something really loud then I want to have the extra power on hand.

But I think I'm going to lean towards 2 112's as my main rig.

Try a pair sometime. They actually sound a lot better paired up regardless of volume.

I'm sure they do, but i'm old, disabled and not sure a bit of an improvement in tone is worth the extra trip to the car. But it would be cool.

I use a Magnacart to haul both of mine.

I'm just lazy.
